For over 20 years, AHC has grown into a global company with exports to over 75 countries and regions with an annual wet wipes output capacity of up to 1 billion. Nilesh Parmar, founder and CEO of AHC, believes that wet wipes are the best delivery system for liquids across a broad spectrum of applications including baby care, cleaning, industrial, pet care, sanitization, healthcare, cosmetics and personal hygiene. Parmar saw the untapped potential of the wipes market in China 20 years ago and thus started the business. Back then, the company and its equipment production partners developed the first generation of automatic wet wipes making machines in China. The company now has two integrated and cutting-edge factories in Shanghai and Zhejiang. Its brand-new state-of-the-art plant in Pinghu City, Zhejiang, was inaugurated in November 2019. This new facility was instrumental for AHC in fulfilling major shortages in the market at that time. Integrating research and development, design, as well as manufacturing as a whole, AHC has obtained various international quality certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 22716, ISO 13485 and is registered with FDA and EPA. AHC’s facilities include a bio-pharma design liquid processing infrastructure with cutting-edge compounding techniques and completely automatic operation, a bio-pharma class EDI water system with chemical-free regeneration, class 100k cleanroom workshops as well as state-of-the-art microbiology and chemistry labs. AHC’s key product offerings in wipes include baby wipes, disinfectant wipes, antibacterial wipes, healthcare wipes, medical wipes, personal care wipes, household wipes, industrial wipes, automotive wipes and pet wipes. AHC also takes a leading role in the innovation of eco-friendly and green wipes products. The most comprehensive range of converting capabilities makes the company a one-stop provider of all kinds of wet wipes. The company manufactures premium baby diapers as well. Under its flagship project “Might of the Green,” AHC’s newly built and state-of-the-art facility is known for its quality production of bamboo diapers and various ranges of wipes. The company is the only global manufacturer with the technology to produce “a real bamboo diaper using crushed bamboo pulp in its absorbent layer.” This makes its core completely tree-free and green. The bamboo pulp comes from certified Organic & FSC certified farms, reinforcing the green practice in the entire supply chain. The company is expanding its baby diaper business steadily and plans to double its green diaper production capacity by the end of 2022. In order to protect the environment, AHC promotes various nonwovens containing 100% plant-based fibers derived from sustainable sources. Over 40% of the products manufactured by AHC are entirely made of 100% plant-based materials. Moreover, the company offers the latest flushable wipes technologies in line with the newest industry standards for flushability and played a leading role in the drafting of the “Test Method and Evaluation for Flushability of Disposable Sanitary Nonwoven Materials (GB/T 40181-2021),” which was officially released by the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) in May 2020. As part of its eco-friendly and sustainable solutions, AHC has designed and built a distributed photovoltaic power system for its factory in Pinghu from the very beginning. This fully operational solar powered facility, with a designed installed capacity of 2500 KW, can supply enough electricity for its manufacturing activities in the daytime, with surplus energy enough to power 2000 homes. “The solar power system used in our Pinghu plant is one of the investments that show our commitment to an eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing process. In the meantime, we make sure that there is zero water discharge from pretreatment while reusing 6% of discharge water from secondary stage,” says Parmar. This solar power system, among other green practices including partial water recycling system, super dust control and noise control, all make AHC stand out from the rest and give a true sense of green manufacturing to its clients.
